Saline County accident injures a Bosworth Man Sunday

 

At 12:25 Sunday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Northbound 65-Highway South of Arbor Drive in Saline County. The accident was reportedly the result of a tire deflating rapidly on the 1984 Honda driven by 60-year-old Robert M. Runyan of Bosworth, causing it to travel off the roadway. The vehicle then struck a fence, and overturned ejecting Runyan, who received moderate injuries according to the accident report. He was transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital by Saline County EMS for treatment.

 

Sedalia woman injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon

 

Just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Highway “Y” at Timber Ridge Road. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 18-year-old Ali M. Bankovich of Sedalia pulled out in front of the 2000 Ford Focus driven by 20-year-old Julia E. Parker also of Sedalia. The Parker vehicle struck the Bankovich vehicle causing the Chevrolet to travel off the roadway. Parker received minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County EMS for treatment.

 

Rollover accident reported in Benton County early Sunday morning

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident on Route “BB” at Woodland Road in Benton County at 3am Sunday morning. The accident report states the accident happened as the 1996 Buick Regal driven by 17-year-old Destiny A. Pearson of Pittsburg Missouri travelled off the roadway, and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. Pearson was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Golden Valley Medical Center in Clinton, by private vehicle for treatment.
