Two Osceola residents suffer serious injuries in a Henry County Accident

At 7:15am Monday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 13 a tenth of a mile North of Bridge A5387 in Henry County. The crash reportedly occurred as a rear tire of a unit being towed by a 2007 GMC 3500, driven by 46-year-old Edward Colston of Mansfield broke loose and struck the front of a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 75-year-old Larry Ferguson of Osceola. The accident report states Ferguson began skidding, and lost control of his vehicle, which then crossed the centerline, and struck a guard rail. The vehicle travelled over the guardrail, down a steep embankment, and overturned ejecting a passenger 64-year-old Marilyn Ferguson also of Osceola. The accident report states neither occupant of the Ferguson vehicle was wearing a seat belt, and suffered serious injuries in the crash. Larry Ferguson was taken to Research Medical Center by EMS, while Marilyn Ferguson was taken t6o Research Medical Center by Lifeflight Eagle for treatment.

Benton County accident injures a Kansas City Kansas man

Around 8am Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 7 South of Bethel Avenue in Benton County. The accident happened as the 2011 Kenworth driven by 31-year-old Jose Guerrero of Kansas City Kansas ran off the roadway, and overturned. Guerrero received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.
