Stover woman injured in a Benton County collision Friday evening

At 5:42pm Friday evening the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a rear-end collision on Missouri Highway-52 East of Morarity Avenue in Benton County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 46-year-old Anita C. Derendinger of Cole Camp was slowing to make a turn, when a 2012 GMC Terrain driven by 22-year-old Jessica N. Keehn struck it in the rear. The report also states both vehicles travelled off the roadway, and overturned. Keehn was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center here in Sedalia by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

Pettis County accident Friday evening injures an Otterville man

Just after 5pm Friday evening an Eastbound 2013 Chevrolet driven by 26-year-old Cory M. Evans of Otterville crossed into the path of a Westbound 2007 Chevrolet driven by Tosha R. Campbell of Kansas City, on 50-Highway West of Prestwick Farms Road in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the Campbell vehicle then struck the Evan’s vehicle. Evans was not wearing his seatbelt and received minor injuries. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by EMS for treatment.

Sunday afternoon accident sends a Warrensburg youth to the hospital

Around 2:40 Sunday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle, injury accident on Northeast 75 Road a half mile East of Route “D” in Johnson County. The accident happened according to the report as the 1993 Chevrolet driven by 17-year-old Matthew K. Walsh of Knob Noster slid off the roadway, hit a tree, and overturned. A passenger 19-year-old Brooke M. Farwell of Warrensburg was wearing a seatbelt, and received only minor injuries. She was taken to Western Missouri Medical by private vehicle for treatment.
