Johnson County accident seriously injured a Warrensburg man Monday afternoon

Just before 2pm Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Business Highway 13 at Southeast 180 Road in Johnson county. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2016 Honda Accord driven by 46-year-old Robbie E. McCarter of Warrensburg was attempting to make a left hand turn, and struck a 2001 Honda CRV driven by Nathan A. Larose also of Warrensburg. The Larose vehicle then ran off the roadway, and struck a tree. Larose suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to Research Hospital by Johnson County EMS for treatment.

Pettis County Teens injured in a Pettis County accident Monday morning

At 10:20am Monday morning two Sedalia teens were injured when the vehicle they were in slid off the roadway on an ice covered road, and struck a tree. The Missouri state Highway Patrol  accident report states the accident, that occurred on Route “B” and Sacajawea happened as the 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by 17-year-old Andrew B. Smoot of Sedalia slid off the ice covered roadway , and struck a tree. Two- Passengers in the vehicle identified as 18-year-old Dakota B. Larimore, and 16-year-old Isaiah T. Rocket both of Sedalia received minor injuries, and were treated and released at the scene.

New Years Eve accident injures a Cole Camp man in Pettis County

Around 10:15pm Thursday night the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on 32nd Street East of Rissler Road in Pettis County. The accident happened as the 2005 Toyota Rav4 driven by 38-year-old Gregory C. Burel of Cole Camp braked and swerved in an attempt to avoid on-coming traffic. The vehicle struck a MODOT sign, and a culvert before coming to rest in the roadway. Burel received minor injuries, butrefused treatment at the scene.
