Lamonte man seriously injured in a Pettis County accident Saturday morning

At 11:45 Saturday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 127 North of Route “D” in Pettis County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2006 Peterbilt Tractor Trailer driven by Michael O Kelly of Lamonte ran off the roadway, overturned, and struck a fence.Kelly suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Sweet Springs EMS for treatment.

Two female teens receive moderate injuries in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon

Just after 2pm Saturday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident in Lafayette County. The accident report states the accident occurred on Missouri Highway-23 North of Bethel Church Road in Lafayette County, when the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 17-year-old Kristin M. Brownlee of Concordia ran off the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Brownlee and her passenger 17-year-old Sabrina M. Templeton of Alma were transported to Sweet Springs Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Brownlee was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.

38-year-old Columbia man injured Monday morning in a rollover accident

Around 7:15am Monday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on I-70 at Mile Marker 63.8 in Lafayette County. The report states the 2008 BMW driven by 38-year-old Jason S. Sutton of Columbia experienced a vehicle defect, and ran off the roadway. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top. Sutton was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, and received moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported to I-70 Medical Center by Sweet Springs EMS for treatment.

Leeton man injured in a Johnson County accident early Sunday morning

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol accident report, 21-year-old Devan L. Plakorus of Leeton received moderate injuries when the 2006 Buick LaCrosse he was driving ran off of Missouri Highway 13 a quarter of a mile South of Southwest 600 road in Johnson County. The Missouri state Highway Patrol accident report states the vehicle travelled down an embankment where it struck a ditch and several trees. Plakorus received moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

Rollover accident early Sunday morning injured a 24-year-old Higginsville man

Just after 4am Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol  investigated a rollover accident, that occurred on Missouri Highway-213 South of Page City Road in Lafayette County. According to the report the accident happened as the 2003 Ford driven by 24-year-old Jacob A. Roncelli of Higginsville travelled off the roadway, and began to slide. Roncelli overcorrected causing the vehicle to return to the roadway, and then run off the same side of the roadway again, and overturn. Roncell9i was not wearing his seatbelt, and received moderate injuries. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Lexington for treatment.
Two Sedalia men involved in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning

Around 9:40pm Saturday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rear end collision on Route “Y” at Hedgeapple Drive West of Sedalia in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by 72-year-old Kenneth H. Odell of Sedalia, and a 2003 Honda S2000 driven by 66-year-old David C. Floyd of Sedalia were travelling Westbound on “Y”. The accident report states the Odell vehicle overtook the Floyd vehicle and struck it in the rear. The Dodge received minor damage, while the Honda was reportedly damaged extensively. Floyd received minor injuries in the accident and sought his own treatment.
