Inebriated Raytown man falls off a 4-wheeler and suffers serious injuries in Benton County

At 9:36 Friday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident in the 11000 block of White Rock Avenue in Benton County. According to the accident report the inebriated driver of a 2003 Honda 4-Wheeler identified as 42-year-old Carey J. Walden of Raytown, fell off of the 4-wheeler he was driving, and landed on his head in the roadway. The report states Walden was transported to Research Medical Center by Lifeflight for treatment of serious injuries.

Kansas man injured in a vehicle accident involving a deer in Henry County

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, at 10:20pm Saturday night a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by 53-year-old Alan K. Doty of Overland Park Kansas struck a deer in the roadway on Missouri Highway-7 just South of County Road Northwest 901 in Henry County. A passenger in the vehicle Tresa A. Doty also of Overland Park Kansas suffered serious injuries in the accident, and was transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City Missouri by Life-Flight Eagle for treatment.
