58-year-old Warsaw man seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday

At 6:35pm Sunday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on Route “BB” in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred when the 2003 Harley Davidson Road King driven by 58-year-old Donnie W. Hensley of Warsaw struck a deer. The accident report states Hensley was ejected as the motorcycle overturned, causing him serious injuries. He was transported to Bothwell Regional health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance for treatment.

Kansas man and Missouri man injured in a Johnson County accident Saturday night

Around 8:15pm Saturday night a 2006 Ford driven by 49-year-old Julie A. Harshman of Holden was slowing to make a turn on US-50 Highway and County Road Northwest 475 in Johnson county, when it was struck in the rear by a 1991 Chevrolet driven by 22-year-old Seth A. Ferguson of  Overland Park Kansas. According to the Missouri state Highway Patrol accident report Ferguson received moderate injuries, and Harshman had minor injuries. Both victims were taken to Lees Summit Medical Center by Johnson County Medical Center for treatment.

74-year-old Polo man injured in a two-vehicle accident after striking a stopped vehicle

At 5:41pm Monday evening The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway “13” at US-40 Highway in Lafayette County. The accident report states the accident occurred as a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by 74-year-old John M. Ferguson of Polo failed to yield to road closure signage at a construction site, and struck a 2004 International driven by 31-year-old Timothy B. Kasey of Springfield that was parked at the site. Ferguson was injured in the crash and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Higginsville EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

Three injuries reported in a Johnson County accident Saturday night

Around 8:30pm Saturday night the Missouri State highway Patrol reported an injury accident on US-50 Highway at Business-50 in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as a 2002 Pontiac driven by 31-year-old Chrystal Y. Brown of Warrensburg was Eastbound on US-50 Highway, and a 1997 Ford driven by 69-year-old Albert J. Oetman of Cole Camp was entering the highway from 50-Highway Business East. The accident report states Brown attempted to avoid a collision, and lost control of her vehicle, and struck the rear of the Oetman vehicle. Two female passengers in the Oetman vehicle Cami C Oetman, and Lauretta G. Oetman both of Cole Camp suffered injuries. Cami Oetman reportedly had moderate injuries, and was taken to Lees Summit Medical Center for treatment. Lauretta Oetman, and Brown received minor injuries, and were also taken to an area hospital for treatment.
