Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports For Tuesday September 1, 2015
Saline County Accident injures a 53-year-old Carrollton man Monday
At 1:23pm Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Brunswick Lane near Route “F” in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of an ATV, 53-year-old Richard L. Kipping of Carrollton was backing down a hill, when the ATV overturned causing Kipping serious injuries. He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight Eagle for treatment.
Two-Houstonia residents injured in a one-vehicle accident in Pettis County
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, just before 3pm Saturday afternoon 18-year-old Alexis S. Butler of Houstonia failed to negotiate a curve on Highway “T” and Buckley Road in Pettis County. The accident report states the 2003 Honda Accord she was driving slid off of the roadway, struck a highway sign, a ditch and a fence before coming to rest in a field. Butler, and a passenger, Larry “M” Nease also of Houstonia received minor injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment.
