Warsaw man suffers serious injuries in a one vehicle accident Friday evening

Just after 6pm Friday evening the Missouri state Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on North of Highway “HH” on Highway 65 in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 68-year-old Wayne V. Kline of Warsaw crossed the median, went airborne, travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch, went up an embankment, and travelled through a fence before coming to rest in a field. Kline suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Lifeflight Eagle for treatment.

Knob Noster teen injured in a rollover accident Monday afternoon

16-year-old Jacob D. Sutherland of Knob Noster received moderate injuries Monday afternoon when the vehicle he was a passenger in overturned on Route “D” a half mile North of Southeast 100 Road in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway patrol accident report states the 2005 Saturn Ion driven by 16-year-old John T. Rehbock also of Knob Noster travelled off the right side of the roadway, then Rehbock overcorrected causing an uncontrolled skid. The vehicle then travelled off the left side of the roadway, where it overturned, coming to rest on its top. Sutherland was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital by EMS for treatment.

Odessa youth injured in a Lafayette County accident Sunday night

The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Varner Road West of Oakland School Road in Lafayette County at 10:15pm Sunday night. According to the report the accident occurred as the 1988 Ford driven by 17-year-old Brooke A. Polignot of Odessa travelled off the roadway and struck a ditch. The driver then overcorrected and travelled off the opposite side of the roadway, and came to rest. Poulignot received minor injuries, and was transported to Centerpoint Medical in Independence by Odessa EMS.
