Warrensburg man injured in a Johnson County accident Monday morning

Around 11am Monday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Route “FF” near the Pettis County/Johnson County line. The accident report states the accident occurred as the 2000 Ford F-150 driven by 52-year-old James E. Metcalf of Warrensburg swerved to avoid a Deer, and travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. Metcalf suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Johnson County accident injures a Lees Summit man Sunday night

Just after 8pm Sunday night the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander, 26-year-old Timothy S. Martin of Lee’s Summit travelled off Route “F” at County Road Southwest 800 in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the vehicle left the road as it approached a curve. The vehicle struck an embankment, then travelled back across County Road 800, and struck another embankment. Martin received moderate injuries in the crash, and was transported to Lees Summit Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for treatment.

56-year-old female victim injured in a Lafayette County accident Sunday evening

At 6:50 Sunday evening the Missouri State Highway patrol reported an injury accident on Missouri “FF” at Beattie Road in Lafayette County. According to the report the accident happened as the driver of a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo, 56-year-old Brenda L. Wooden of Higginsville failed to negotiate a curve, and ran off the roadway, causing the vehicle to strike an embankment, and overturn. The accident report states Wooden was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Higginsville EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

Knob Noster man injured in a vehicle accident early this (Tuesday) morning

Around 4:30 this (Tuesday) morning 20-year-old Kaleal J. Brown of Knob Noster reportedly attempted to steer his 2010 Toyota Corolla around a deer, that was standing in the middle of Missouri Highway 23 North of County Road Southeast 350 in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the vehicle travelled off the roadway, through a ditch, and struck a ditch. Brown was wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.

Two out of state drivers involved in a Saline County accident Monday morning

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report at 1:35 Monday morning the driver of a 2006 Ford F-350, 33-year-old Hamid Tmarte of Sarasota Florida fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle slid off the roadway, and struck a cable barrier before coming to rest, with its trailer blocking the passing lane. At that time a 2013 Volvo Tractor Trailer driven by 37-year-old Phillip M. Lawson of Tazewell Tennessee struck the Tmarte trailer before coming to a stop. Tmarte received minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
