Four Lincoln residents injured in a Pettis County accident Saturday night

At 8pm Saturday night the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on US-65 Highway and Ball Road in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1999 Ford driven by 18-year-old Dalton J. Lukecart of Lincoln travelled off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and then travelled off the right side of the roadway, where it struck a ditch and overturned several times, before coming to rest on its top in a field. A passenger in the vehicle, Chad E. McDaniel was not wearing a seatbelt, and suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was life flighted to University Hospital for treatment. Lukehart also was not wearing his seatbelt, and received moderate injuries. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. There was also a two-year-old female child and an infant male in the vehicle, and they received minor injuries. Both children were transported to Bothwell regional Health Center for treatment. All four victims were Lincoln residents according to the accident report.

Serious injuries suffered by a Warrensburg man in a one vehicle accident Sunday

Around 9:15am Sunday morning a Warrensburg man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Southbound County road Southwest 101 just North of County Road Southwest 500. According to the Missouri State Highway patrol accident report a 2004 GMC driven by 44-year-old Theodore W. Potter of Warrensburg ran off the roadway, overturned, and struck a fence. Potter was taken to Research Hospital by Life Flight for treatment of his injuries. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.

Warrensburg man seriously injured in a Deer/Motorcycle accident this (Tuesday) morning

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol accident report just after 6am this (Tuesday) morning a 2009 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven, by 43-year-old John D. Rodgers of Warrensburg struck a deer on Missouri Highway 13 a quarter of a mile South of Route “DD” in Johnson County. Rodgers was ejected from the motorcycle, and received serious injuries in the accident. He was transported to Lees Summit Medical Center by Johnson county ambulance for treatment.

Rollover accident Monday injures an Odessa man

The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Eastbound I-70 at Mile Marker 33.4 at 8:45am Monday morning. According to the report the accident happened as the 1999 Jeep driven by 37-year-old Jason W. Perkins of Odessa left the roadway where Perkins lost control of the vehicle, which then returned to the roadway, impacted  a guardrail, and overturned several times before coming to rest. Perkins was not wearing a seatbelt and received moderate injuries. He was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center by Odessa EMS for treatment.

Lees Summit woman injured in a Johnson County accident this (Tuesday) morning

A Lees Summit woman received moderate injuries in an accident on County Road Northwest 1901 just South of County Road Northwest 1000 just after midnight this (Tuesday) morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the accident happened when the driver of a 1999 Honda Accord, 19-year-old Rachell L. Cutrell of Lees Summit swerved to miss a deer, and ran off the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment, and overturned multiple times before coming to rest. The report states Cutrell was not wearing her seatbelt. She was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for treatment of her injuries.
