Two injuries reported in a Henry County accident Tuesday afternoon

At 12:25 Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway -13 just South of Missouri Highway-52 in Henry County. According to the report the accident occurred as a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by 76-year-old Kermit Nine of Warsaw, was attempting a “U” turn on Highway-13, and turned into the path of the 2007 Ford F-150 Pick-up driven by 41-year-old Melissa Ryun of Clinton. Nine was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while Ryun was treated at the scene.

Kingsville teen injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday evening

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report at 6:45 Tuesday evening 16-year-old Cassidy S. Coleman of Kingsville ran off of Route “AA” South of Country Road Northwest 530 in Johnson County. The accident report states Coleman attempted to steer her 2004 Ford Escape around an animal in the road, and ran off the roadway where she struck a tree. She was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.

Rear end collision reported in Johnson County Tuesday afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident at 3:32 Tuesday afternoon, on Missouri Highway-13 at Southwest 675 Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as a 2015 Chevrolet driven by 43-year-old William J. Leggett of Warrensburg stopped for another vehicle that was stopped in traffic, when a 2007 Mazda driven by 19-year-old Cody L. Armstrong struck a unit Leggett was towing. Leggett received minor injuries in the crash, but refused treatment at the scene.
