Sedalia man seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning

At 11am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on US-65 Highway at Georgetown Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as the Southbound 2007 Mercury Milan driven by 32-year-old Jackie D. Gresham of Sedalia struck a Southbound 2013 Ford Taurus driven by 30-year-old Ryan J. Foster of Smithton. Gresham suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Foster and his 8-year-old passenger received minor injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle for treatment.

22-year-old Knob Noster man injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday

Around 11:20pm Tuesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on East Division Road West of Missouri Highway 13 in Johnson County. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, 22-year-old Taylor W. Carpenter of Knob Noster swerved to avoid a deer. The vehicle travelled off the roadway and struck a utility pole causing moderate damage to the vehicle, and serious injuries to Carpenter. Carpenter was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.

Rollover accident this (Wednesday) morning injures a 20-year-old Whiteman man

At 12:30am this (Wednesday) morning 20-year-old Luis A. Tavera of Whiteman Air Force Base suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident that occurred on Business 13 just South of Blackwater in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as the 2013 Dodge Dart Tavera was driving crossed the centerline, and travelled off the roadway where it impacted the ground and went airborne. The report states the vehicle then impacted the ground again and rolled several times before coming to rest on its top. Tavera suffered serious injuries in the accident, and was transported to Research Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.
