16-year-old Sedalia youth injured in a Pettis County accident

At 3:45pm Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Sacajawea Road at Palmer Road in Pettis County. According to the report, the accident occurred as the 1995 Bronco driven by 16-year-old Jerod R. Rosenbarker of Sedalia failed to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the roadway. The report states the vehicle then struck a utility pole, and overturned. Rosenbarker was wearing his seat belt, and received minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle for treatment. The Bronco was reportedly totaled, and was towed from the scene.

Two-vehicle accident in Johnson County injures a Warrensburg man

Just before 8am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Business Highway-13 at Southwest 240 Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as a 1997 Mazda driven by 69-year-old Cecil Henry of Warrensburg was slowing to make a turn. A 1995 Chevrolet driven by 53-year-old Michael S Cunningham of Garden City Missouri overtook, and struck the Henry vehicle causing extensive damage to both vehicles. Henry was transported by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.
