Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports For January 13, 2016

32-year-old Florissant man injured in a Lafayette County accident Tuesday night

Just after 7pm Tuesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on Eastbound I-70 at Mile Marker 34.6 in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly occurred as the Eastbound 2007 Freightliner driven by 32-year-old Ronell L. Franklin of Florissant travelled into the median, through the cable barriers, crossed the Westbound Lanes of the highway, travelled off the roadway, and impacted a ditch. Franklin was not wearing a seatbelt according to the accident report, and received moderate injuries in the crash. Franklin was taken to Centerpoint Hospital by Odessa EMS for treatment.

Warrensburg woman involved in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday

At 9:20 Tuesday morning according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, 22-year-old Elisha M. Miller of Warrensburg ran off of Missouri Highway 13 at Route “DD” in Johnson County. The report states the 2006 Jeep Miller was driving ran off of  the roadway, and struck two-traffic signs. Miller received only minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.
