Three injured in a Henry County Rollover Accident Tuesday evening

Just before 5pm Tuesday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on “W” Highway at Southeast 500 Road in Henry County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 1999 ford Explorer driven by 61-year-old Laurie Freeman of Stover hit standing water in the roadway. The vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, and overturned in a ditch, coming to rest on kits top.  Freeman received minor injuries in the crash, but a passenger 49-year-old Kenneth M. Lacore of Independence Missouri suffered serious injuries, and a second passenger, 35-year-old Charles H. Johnson of Stover had moderate injuries. All three victims were transported to Golden Valley Hospital by EMS for treatment. It was not known if the victims were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the wreck.

20-year-old Sedalia woman injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon

At 3:30 Tuesday afternoon The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident that occurred on US-50 Highway east of Route “TT” in Pettis County. The accident report states a 2001 Chrysler driven by 21-year-old Endylee M. Puckett of Sedalia travelled off the roadway, and struck a ditch. A passenger 20-year-old Deidre L. Harding of Sedalia was wearing her seatbelt, and received only minor injuries. She was treated by Pettis County EMS and released at the scene.
