Pettis County accident injures a Marshall man Tuesday morning

At 7:23am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “H” South Of Elliot Road in Pettis County. According to the report the accident  occurred as the 2006 Nissan driven by 34-year-old Maria Miranda of Marshall ran off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and then overcorrected causing the vehicle to go off the right side of the roadway again, and begin to overturn. Miranda suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. The report states she was wearing a seatbelt.

Rear end collision injures a 21-year-old man in Henry County Tuesday night

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol accident report. 21-year-old Stephanie R. Stansberry of Clinton received moderate injuries in a rear end collision Tuesday night.  The report states Stansberry was stopped to make a left hand turn in her 2003 Ford Focus from Missouri Highway “7” on to  Northeast 201 Road in Henry County, when she was struck in the rear by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Alexander L. Jones also of Clinton. Stansberry was reportedly wearing her seatbelt, and received moderate injuries. She was transported to Golden Valley Hospital by EMS for treatment. The report also states Stansberry’s vehicle was totaled.
