Three injuries in a Lafayette County Accident Tuesday Afternoon

At 2pm Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on US-Highway-24 at Highway 131 in Lafayette County. According to the report the accident occurred as a Ford F-150 driven by 48-year-old Anthony M. Arroyo of Kansas City Missouri travelled into the path of a Lincoln Aviator driven by Tracey L. Bingham of Norborne, causing her vehicle to strike the passenger side of the Lincoln. Arroyo was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected. He suffered serious injuries in the crash. Bingham and her passenger 15-year-old Gracie V. Bingham of Norborne received moderate injuries. All three victims were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment.

ATV accident seriously injures a Leeton man Tuesday afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an ATV accident at Colorado Midland Railway East of Southwest 101 Road in Johnson County. According to the report the accident happened when the Kawasaki 300 ATV driven by 22-year-old Billy D. Pickard struk a tree that was across the trail, and overturned ejecting Pickard. Pickard suffered serious injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center private vehicle, and then was transferred to St. Lukes Hospital on the Plaza for treatment.

Bates City Man injured early this (Wednesday) Morning in a Johnson County accident

Just before 3am this (Wednesday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Northwest 785 Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as a 2015 Volkswagon driven by 59-year-old Neil J. Shelton of Bates City ran off the roadway, and struck a mailbox. The vehicle then continued through the grass, struck a decorative fence, an electrical box and a tree. Shelton received moderate injuries and was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center for care.
