Benton County accident seriously injures a 3-year-old boy Tuesday

At 9:49am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Northbound 65-Highway at “BB” in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2005 Chevrolet driven by 24-year-old Jennifer A. Markle of Warsaw travelled off the roadway, and struck a guardrail. Markle received minor injuries, but her three year old passenger Ember G. Markle also of Warsaw suffered serious injuries. Both victims were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by EMS for treatment.

18-year-old Georgia female suffers serious injuries in a Saline County accident

Around 10am Tuesday morning  a Fayetteville Georgia woman received serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route “WW” just East of Kodiak Road in Saline County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the accident happened when the driver of a 2015 Ram Truck, 18-year-old Maggie L. Barrow lost control of the vehicle in a curve, and travelled off the roadway. The vehicle then struck a guardrail, went airborne, struck the ground, and overturned. It then struck a tree before coming to rest. Barrow was not wearing a seat belt according to the report, and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by Life-Flight to Center Point Hospital in Independence for treatment.

Two injuries reported in a Benton County accident this Wednesday morning

At 12:49 this Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on Hastain Avenue at Mulholland Road in Benton County. The accident happened according to the report as the 2013 Polaris Ranger UTV driven by 44-year-old Tessie M. Fontaine of Edwards travelled off the roadway, and overturned. The accident report states neither Fontaine or her passenger 47-year-old Lorrie J. Shoemaker of Springfield were wearing safety devices, and both received moderate injuries. They were transported to Bothwell regional Health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for treatment.

Sedalia woman injured in a Pettis County accident Tuesday morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on US-50 Highway at Rissler Road in Pettis County. According to the accident report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2013 Nissan 46-year-old Michelle A. Bishop of Sedalia failed to yield to a 2014 Honda driven Jeffrey S. Genes also of Sedalia. Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident, but the only injury was Bishop, who was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of minor injuries.
