The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a three vehicle injury accident around 12:30 this afternoon (July 14), in Benton County. The crash occurred as a 2000 Buick failed to yield to oncoming traffic while entering MO Highway 7. The Buick struck the towed unit on a 2016 GMC Sierra. 74-year old Sharon E. Curtis and 69-year old Wanetta J. Schroeder, both of Cole Camp, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. They were both taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS, for treatment.

 

 

There was another accident reported in Benton County, around 10:15 this morning (July 14). That crash occurred at Route BB, west of Faester Branch Road. A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the center of the road, which caused the driver of a 2004 Chevy Suburban to swerve to the left. The Chevy then crossed the center of the road and began to slide. The Chevy traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree, and overturned. 46-year old Chad A. Ashford, of Warsaw, sustained minor injuries in the wreck and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for treatment. 66-year old Barbara L. Norton, also of Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for the treatment of her injuries.
