The following Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A crash reports are from the morning of Friday, May 30.

There was a two vehicle crash in Benton County on Route H, .3 miles east of Fire Tower Avenue yesterday morning (May 29) at 7:40.

17-year-old Nicholas Cook from Cole Camp was driving westbound on Route H, and according to the Highway Patrol report fell asleep and crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle going eastbound head on, driven by 49-year-old Rebecca Schultz of Deepwater.

Both Cook and Schultz were transported by Staff for Life Air Ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center, where they were initially reported to be in serious condition.

Troop A investigated an accident that happened on Wednesday (May 28),in Johnson County on Souteast 581, .3 MILE WEST OF SE 601. 52-year-old Karen Strohmeyer of Warrensburg lost control of her vehicle on the gravel road and it fell on its left side. Strohmeyer reportedly had moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, via a private car.
