Missouri State Highway patrol Reports a Fatal Accident in Pettis County Wednesday Night
At 8:09 Wednesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatal accident, that occurred on Northbound 65-Highway 2-tenths of a mile North of Hall road in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2001 Saturn driven by 20-year-old Jared A. Gardner of Lincoln struck a deer in the roadway. The driver lost control of the vehicle, travelled off the roadway, and struck a utility pole. Gardner was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Air Ambulance, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:52pm by Doctor S. Ahmed of University Hospital. Funeral services for Jared Alan Gardner will be on Sunday November the 9th 2014 at the Lutheran School Auditorium in Cole Camp.
