Lafayette County traffic accident involving a pedestrian reported Saturday night

At 8:50 Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a pedestrian on Salt Fork Road, South of Centerview Road in Lafayette County. The accident occurred as a pedestrian, identified as 23-year-old Ryan Lagore of Alma, was viewing the damage to his vehicle from a previous accident. The accident report states the pedestrian and the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 24-year-old Chelsea O’Bryan of Marshall, returned to the scene of the previous accident, and both exited the Trailblazer to view the accident scene. O’Bryan returned to her vehicle, and reportedly ran over Lagore as he was returning to her vehicle. Lagore received serious injuries in the accident and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital, then on to University Hospital in Columbia by Lifeflight for treatment.

Two Kingsville men injured in a head-on collision in Johnson County Saturday night

At 11:50 Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, Fire District, and Ambulance District were called to an accident on County Road Northwest 1771 just North of County Road Northwest 200 in Johnson County. According to the report, the accident happened when the Northbound Honda CRF 100 driven by 23-year-old Dennis Shroyer of Kingsville, and the Southbound Honda CRF 150 driven by 20-year-old Trevor Bloom, also of Kingsville, collided head-on. Neither driver had any safety equipment on and were ejected, causing both men to suffer serious injuries. Both victims were transported to Research Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.

43-year-old Kingsville man suffers serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Monday afternoon

Around 1:45 Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident that occurred on Missouri Highway 2 a half mile West of Route “B” in Johnson County. According to the accident report, the accident occurred as the 2008 Spec 2-wheel driven by 43-year-old Brian Alexander of Kingsville traveled off the roadway and overturned. Alexander was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Research Hospital by Johnson County EMS for treatment.
