You can't put a price on your child, although two men certainly tried.

Police in Covina, California are looking for a pair of men who allegedly approached a woman in a supermarket and asked if she'd sell her 2-year-old son for $100.

One of the men walked up to the mother inside the store and initially suggested the transaction. The woman said no and waited inside until she thought it was safe. However, once she got to the parking lot, the man -- and another man in tow -- confronted her and again asked if he could buy the child for $100.

The mother says she locked the car to protect the child, while the first man dropped the money in her cart and told her to keep it before he and his accomplice drove away.
