A Montana man wanted in Pettis County for a case of child sexual exploitation that occurred earlier this year, was arrested last Friday (Mar 16).

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says Raymond L.E. Kennedy of Kalispell, Montana was wanted on an outstanding warrant for two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor child and four counts of sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 years of age.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office coordinated with the Homeland Security's Investigations Division in Montana to locate and apprehend Kennedy.

Court documents indicate Kennedy, who was 22-years old at the time, is accused of performing sexual acts, and asking a 13-year-old boy from Pettis County to perform sexual acts, while communicating through online video chat sessions. Kennedy also allegedly threatened to rape the boy.

Kennedy is now in the Pettis County Jail, with a $250,000 bond. His next court date is set for March 27, 2018 in Pettis County.
