The Morgan County Sheriff’s office says 82-year-old Wayne L. Wells and 71-year-old Mable I. Wells were found shot to death Tuesday morning in their home in Ivy Bend, Mo. A neighbor called 911 after finding Mable Wells lying in a pool of blood. Her husband was found in another room. A door had been forced open.

Investigators say both of them were shot several times. They say the murders probably happened Monday night in the small town south of Stover, Missouri.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to call 573-378-5481.
