On January 19th, in the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court, just before noon, Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check on a subject. The warrant was confirmed through dispatch as a failure-to-appear warrant out of Pettis County. Arrested at the scene was 65-year old Willie B. Carter. He was tranported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond set at $326.50 cash only.

On January 19th, around 9:00 in the evening, in the 600 block of North Prospect, Sedalia Police arrested 41-year old Christopher Michael Riley for active felony warrants from Pettis County being burglary in the 1st degree and assault in the 2nd degree. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50,000.00 bond cash or surety.

On January 19th, at 3201 West Broadway, Wal-Mart, Sedalia Police responded for a theft report. Upon contact, officers arrested 54-year old Gena Ann Collins and transported her to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

On January 18th, at Wal-Mart, located at 3201 West Broadway, there was another report of a theft. The complaintint stated the suspect placed a portable DVD player under his jacket and walked out of the store. Security camera footage is being reviewed and charges are being sought. The value of the DVD player was placed at $68.96.

On Janaury 19th. around 6:30 that evening, in the 1400 block of Liberty Park Blvd, Sedalia Police took a report of a possible theft. Upon arrival, officers met with the complaintint, who stated that sometime between 10:00pm on Janaury 18th, and the evening of the 19th, someone got into her vehicle and stole several items. There were no other details listed in the police report and the investigation in underway....
