Sedalia police conduct a prisoner transfer with Henry County Police

According to a Sedalia Police report at 3:37pm Sunday afternoon officers with the Sedalia Police Department were dispatched to the Henry County Line for a prisoner transfer. Upon arrival they took custody of 23-year-old Christopher Scott Trobaugh of Sedalia and transported him to the Pettis County Jail pending an $88.50 bond on a failure to appear warrant.

Sedalia man taken into protective custody Saturday night

At 9pm Saturday night Sedalia Police received a call on a man falling and having trouble walking in the 1900 block of east Broadway. Upon arrival the man was located and appeared to be intoxicated. The man also said he had a bum leg. The officers took the 25-year-old Sedalia man into protective custody for 12-hours according to the police report.

Man reports BB damaged his sliding glass door Sunday

Around 3:37 Sunday afternoon a victim in the 600 block of North Stewart reported his sliding glass door was shattered by what appeared to be a BB gun. There were no suspects at news time, and no value was placed on the damaged door.

Thieves enter a woman’s home and steal cash

A female victim in the 900 block of Mitchell road reported thieves entered her home and stole $40 from her. There were no suspects. Just before 3:30 Sunday morning Sedalia Police investigated a theft complaint at the Breaktime located at 808 east Broadway. According to the police report 3 suspects are being sought in a shoplifting case at the store.

Pettis County sheriff’s Reports

At 7:41 Monday morning Pettis County deputies arrested Gary D. Spradley on a warrant out of Benton County. At the time of the report he was being held without bond.

At 1:40 Sunday morning Pettis County deputies responded to the area of the 23,000 block of Hall Road on a large party. Upon arrival the report states the subjects fled the area. During an investigation Deputies seized approximately 30 grams of marijuana, prescription medication, and drug paraphernalia. There were no arrests mentioned in the report.

Early Sunday morning Pettis County Deputies arrested Ronnie L. Price Jr. at “M” and 50-Highway for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, no seat belt, and no taillights.
