Tipton woman arrested on multiple drug related charges

Just after 2pm Sunday afternoon the Sedalia Police investigated a suspicious person call at the Casey’s located at 1601 East Broadway. According to the report a vehicle was parked just out of view of cameras, and the driver was still in the vehicle. Upon arrival officers made contact with the driver, identified as 29-year-old Tiffany M. Aaron of Tipton. A check through dispatch revealed Aaron had an active warrant out of Benton County. A subsequent search reportedly turned up a container containing a controlled substance. The police report states a K-9 Unit was called in to do a sniff search and alerted on several areas. The police located 3-types of controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia. Aaron was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $500 bond on the warrant, and multiple drug related charges.

Sedalia man arrested on 1st degree domestic assault charges Saturday

Friday evening Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Bothwell Regional Health Center on domestic assault that took place in the 800 block of East 3rd.  Upon arrival officers made contact with a female victim in the emergency room where she was treated for her injuries. The male suspect identified as 23-year-old Ahmad Jamal Dupree was located and arrested. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of 1st degree domestic assault.

54-year-old Sedalia man issued a summons for assault Saturday

At 11:37 on Saturday Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1800 block of South Barrett on a report of a landlord attempting to force entry to a rental house. Following an investigation 54-year-old Walter Doyal of Sedalia was issued a summons for assault.

Traffic stop results in arrest for a Sedalia woman

Around 4pm Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for expired plates in the 1600 block of South Engineer. A check on the driver 30-year-old Kathryn Ann Laas of Sedalia revealed she was suspended. Laas was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

Casey’s at 3050 South Limit reported a gas drive off, after the suspect pumped 15 gallons of gas into their vehicle.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports

Monday night Pettis County Deputies arrested Samuel Bartlett of Sedalia on an active warrant.

Late Sunday night a victim in the 24000 block of Highway 765 reported a flat screen, a computer tower, an X-Box and a wallet was stolen from her house sometime during the day.

During a traffic stop at 7:16pm Saturday night Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ryan Clark of Sedalia for driving while suspended. A computer check also revealed he had an active Sedalia warrant with a cash only bond of $88.50 cash only. During a search Clark was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. A Sedalia K9 Officer arrived on the scene, and drug paraphernalia was located. At the time of the report Clark was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

At 7:20 Saturday morning Pettis county Deputies took a report of a theft of Concrete Wire that took place in the 2600 block of 38th Street in Sedalia.

Last Friday the 3rd of April Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael Ollison on HH Road just past 65 Highway for attempted stealing of Copper wire.
