47-year-old Sedalia man arrested for driving while suspended

Just before 10pm Friday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 6th and Harrison with expired registration. Following an investigation the driver 47-year-old Carl N. McCallum of Sedalia was found to be suspended out of Illinois. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond for driving while suspended, and registration required. In addition a Pettis County Sheriff’s arrest report states McCallum also was being held for non-support of a child.

Local Auto sales lot reported a vehicle stolen sometime after the 26th of January 2016

Sedalia Automotive located at 3000 Clinton Road reported a Green 1998 Chevrolet Silverado had been stolen from their lot sometime after the 26th of January. There was no information on possible suspects at news time, and no value was placed on the stolen vehicle.

Shoplifter being sought for stealing over $80 worth of beer at Walmart

According to an employee at the Walmart store a white male suspect loaded a cart with over $80 worth of Beer from the Liquor Department, and left the store without paying. There were no suspects at news time.

51-year-old Sedalia man under investigation on theft charge

Sunday night Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 100 block of East 24th. According to the victim, someone stole a shower unit that was in his front yard. Upon contact with the 51-year-old suspect, he admitted he took the shower. The police report states the matter has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Theft of Debit Card and Driver's License reported early this (Tuesday) morning

At 12:47 this (Tuesday) morning Pettis County Deputies took a theft complaint from a female victim in the 30000 block of Highway "HH" in Pettis County. According to the victim thieves took her Missouri Driver's License, and Debit Card out of her vehicle. There was no information on a possible suspect in the Sheriff's report.

Theft reported at Tyson Foods Monday afternoon

According to a Pettis County Sheriff's report, Pettis County Deputies responded to Tyson Foods at 19571 Whitfield road in Pettis County on a theft complaint. There was no other information in the report, but an investigation is ongoing.
