Independence man in jail on a Sedalia Warrant

Just before 1pm Monday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Saline county line to pick up 21-year-old Ivy McDonald of Independence from the Saline County law Enforcement. Ivy was transported to the Pettis County jail pending an $88.50 cash only bond on a failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia.

Local car dealer reports a vehicle theft Tuesday morning

Just after 7am Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to Rick Ball Ford at 2505 West Broadway on a vehicle theft. Upon arrival the complainant reported she had left the vehicle on the lot Monday night, and Tuesday morning it was gone. The vehicle is a 1989 blue Ford Mustang according to the police report. No other information was included in the police report.

Sedalia man reports vandals break his truck’s windshield

At 1:54pm Monday afternoon a Sedalia Police report states a man came to the police station to report the windshield of his 1975 GMC truck had been broken out. The victim said it appeared to have been broken by someone kicking it out. There was no suspect information at the time of the police report.

Local business reports damage to a garage

Monday evening the Sedalia Police investigated damage to the locks and door on a garage belonging to Sedalia Cold Storage located at 314 West Main. There was no dollar estimate on the damage , and no suspects were known at the time of the police report.
