Sedalia Police search for a run a way juvenile

According to a Sedalia Police report a woman in the 300 block of East 6th called the police around 7:22 Tuesday night and reported her juvenile daughter had left the home, and her whereabouts were not known. In a follow up to this story the juvenile has been recovered according to Sedalia Police.

Sedalia man arrested on a warrant at parole and probation

At 10:21 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the parole and probation office on a subject with a warrant. Upon arrival officers arrested 35-year-old James H. Smith of Sedalia on a warrant for failure to pay child support. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $3500 bond.

Police arrest a woman during a disturbance call Tuesday morning

At 8:18 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1600 block of East 6th on a reported physical fight. Upon arrival the caller did not want to pursue charges. Following an investigation officers arrested 33-year-old Marie S. Lowe at the scene on a charge of driving while suspended. Lowe was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Sedalia man arrested following a traffic stop Tuesday night.

Around 11:49 Tuesday night Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 14th and Kentucky. A check on the driver through dispatch revealed 43-year-old Ernest C. Trummell of Sedalia was suspended. Trummell was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of state charges.
