Sedalia woman arrested at Walmart for trespassing
At 7:34 Wednesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Walmart store on a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival officers located 35-year-old Michelle A. Anderson who had a previous trespass warning. Anderson was found inside the store and was arrested. She was transported to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

25-year-old Sedalia man arrested at Woods Wednesday for shoplifting alcohol

Just after 6pm Wednesday evening Sedalia police arrested 25-year-old Zachary Dewayne Palmer of Sedalia for shoplifting a $12.99 bottle of alcohol from the store. Palmer was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

Employee of El Tapitio reports property damage to her vehicle

Around 10:20pm Wednesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to El-Tapitio on a property damage complaint. Upon arrival an employee reported property damage to her vehicle that was parked in the parking lot. The police report states a window was broken out and there was damage to the paint on the vehicle. Estimate of the damage was placed at $600. There were no suspects at news time.

Deer put out of its misery Wednesday night

According to a Sedalia Police report an officer put down a deer, that had been struck by a vehicle and was in pain, in the area of 5th and Arlington. The police report also states the deer was given to a local citizen after receiving permission from the Department of Conservation.
