Man on west 7th reports $1000 worth of tools and building supplies stolen
At 6:30 Tuesday evening a victim in the 500 block of west 7th reported the theft of tools and building supplies from his residence with a value around $1000. The victim said the theft took place sometime between the 1st and the 8th of July.
Woman in Kansas reports her credit card information used in Sedalia
On Tuesday a victim in Topeka Kansas called the Sedalia Police Department to report that someone used her credit card information at two local businesses. The woman said the purchases from the Sedalia stores amounted to $406.32. There was no information on possible suspects at news time.
Local car rental business reports the theft of a vehicle
Tuesday afternoon American Auto Rental at 2101 South Limit reported a rental vehicle valued at $7500 has not been returned to the business. The complainant told police officers they had sent notices to the suspect over the past two months without success.
At 8:45 Tuesday a vehicle in the 1100 block of east 16th was reportedly keyed. There were no suspects, and a damage estimate was not available at news time.
