Revoked driver arrested early Monday morning

At 3:37am Monday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 6th and Hancock with expired registration. A subsequent check on the driver, 34-year-old Brandy Mobley of Sedalia revealed she was revoked. Mobley was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released pending the filing of state charges of driving while revoked.

30-year-old Texas man arrested on a failure to appear warrant

Just after 10am Sunday morning Sedalia Police arrested 30-year-old Justin Scott Phillips of Alvarado Texas on a failure to appear warrant out of the City of Sedalia. Bond was set at $88.50.

A Plethora of thefts reported in Sedalia over the past few days

Just before noon on Saturday Sedalia Police investigated a theft complaint in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who reported the renters of his apartment moved out and took his window air conditioner with them. Value of the air conditioner was placed at $300. The suspects had not been located at the time of the police report.

At 9:09 Saturday morning Sedalia Police received a theft from a motor vehicle complaint from a victim in the 1100 block of East Broadway; According to the victim her vehicle was parked in the driveway, and the thieves got away with $340 wort6h of items.

At noon on Monday a victim in the 1800 block of West Main reported a company shed was entered and several items were taken. Missing according to the complainant was a generator, gas cans, a chain saw, and some wire.

$130 worth of items was taken from a vehicle parked in the owner’s driveway Friday according to the victim. The vehicle was unlocked according to the police report.

Just before noon Saturday morning Sedalia Police received a theft from a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of east 10th. The vehicle was parked in the victim’s driveway at the time of the theft according to the police report. There was no information on what was taken from the vehicle in the police report.

At 8:48 Monday night Sedalia Police took a theft from a vehicle complaint in the 1300 block of South Moniteau. There was no information on what was stolen in the theft.
