Two women arrested during a traffic stop Saturday morning

Just before 10am Saturday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for an improper stop at 6th and Engineer. Upon contact with the occupants consent to search was obtained, and the officer found methamphetamine in the vehicle, and in the possession of passenger. The police report states the passenger, 35-year-old Janice L. Webster a homeless person ingested evidence, and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Following her dismissal she was arrested and taken to the Pettis County pending drug related charges. A check on the driver 35-year-old Michelle Ann Anderson of rural Sedalia revealed she had an active warrant out of Warrensburg. At the time of the police report she was in the Pettis County Jail on $200 bond.

Homeless woman arrested for yelling and cursing Friday night

At 7:50 Friday night Sedalia Police arrested 49-year-old Elena Garcia Hickman, a homeless person, when they observed her yelling and cursing in the area of 2nd and Osage. The police report states Hickman was intoxicated and had an open container. At the time of the police report she was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $667.50 bond.

52-year-old Warrensburg man arrested for stealing at Walmart

Around 8:20pm Friday night Sedalia Police reportedly arrested 52-year-old Fred J. Hanley of Warrensburg for stealing a cell phone at the Walmart Store. Hanley was taken to the Pettis County jail pending charges of stealing, operating a vehicle without a valid license, and failure to signal a turn. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold pending charges.

Sedalia man arrested on a probation violation warrant Friday afternoon

Just before 5pm Friday afternoon Sedalia Police arrested 28-year-old James Wesley Cramer for a Probation Violation. Bond was set at $2000 cash and $2500 Surety.

24-year-old Sedalia woman arrested on a failure to appear warrant

Just after 7pm Friday night 24-year-old Jessica Julie Kay Bryant of Sedalia was arrested for a failure to appear warrant in the 1600 block of Heck Avenue. Bond was set at $150 cash only.

According to a Sedalia Police report $1700 worth of items were stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of South Kentucky Sunday afternoon. Stolen according to the police report were two Kicker Speakers, an amplifier, and a necklass.
