27-year old Sedalia man arrested on a failure to appear warrant

At 7pm Saturday night the Sedalia Police conducted a subject check at a residence in the 2000 block of West Broadway. Upon contact with the subject 27-year-old Mitchell William Duncan of Sedalia he was found to have a failure to appear warrant with a $5000 bond.

Sedalia man arrested Friday afternoon for domestic assault

Just after 4pm Friday afternoon Sedalia Police arrested 31-year-old Elmer J. Miley Jr. following an investigation of a disturbance in the area of 12th and Hancock. At the time of the police report Miley was on 24-hour hold pending formal charges for 3rd degree domestic assault.

18-year-old arrested after being found passed out in a car

Around 4:40 Saturday morning Sedalia Police investigated a loud noise complaint in the 600 block of East 12th. According to the complainant someone was revving his engine, and playing the radio too loud. The police report states while the officer was there a vehicle drove up with a loud radio, and parked in a driveway across from the residence. When the officer checked he reportedly found two people passed out in the vehicle. 18- year-old Alfredo Carlos of Sedalia was arrested for minor in possession.

According to a Sedalia Police report a warrant check in the 1000 block of South Osage revealed that 35-year-old Stephanie L Wiseman of Sedalia had a Pettis County warrant with a $2500 bond.

21-year-old Sedalia man arrested Friday on warrants

At 7:20 Friday morning Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-oldAaran T. Cantrell of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant with a $2500 bond. The police report also states Cantrell had a no-bond warrant out of Benton County. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending extradition.

Theft complaints under investigation by the Sedalia Police Department

A female victim in the 2100 block of South Grand filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police . According to the victim someone opened an account with Verizon Wireless in 2011, and left an unpaid bill in the amount of $877. There was no information on a suspect at news time.
Sedalia Police were called to a residence in the 800 block of Ruth Ann Drive on a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival the officers reportedly found a window of the vehicle had been  broken by a rock. The victim told the officers some cards were stolen from her purse, and fraudulent charges have showed up on them. There was no suspect information at thed time of the police report.
