Two-women get summons after a fight in front of the court house

At 10:30 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the front of the Pettis County Court House on a disturbance. Upon arrival the officers

talked to 18-year-old Hannah Cassels Meyer who told the officers 18-year-old Savannah Taylor Stetzenbach had started fighting with her after her

court appearance. Following an investigation both subjects were issued a summons, with a court date for public peace disturbance.

Sedalia man arrested on probation and parole violations Tuesday

Around 10:22 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police observed a suspect in the 200 block of South Grand known to have active warrants. Upon contact

with the suspect identified as 34-year-old Charles Robert Winsauer of Sedalia the warrants were confirmed. Winsauer was arrested and

taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $2500 bond on the a probation violation warrant. A second parole violation warrant was a no-bond warrant

according to the report.

36-year-old Sedalia man arrested for driving while intoxicated and revoked

At 2:22 Wednesday morning Sedalia Police observed a disabled vehicle in the 3100 block of west Broadway. Upon contact with the driver he told the

police he had had an accident. Following an investigation the driver, 36-year-old Dwayne D. Jones of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis

County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of driving while intoxicated, and driving while revoked.

Man on south Grand reports being punched by a burglar Tuesday morning

Tuesday morning Sedalia Police took a burglary complaint from a man in the 1100 block of south Grand. According to the victim he was in the

basement of his home when he heard someone taking the screen off of the window to his bedroom. The victim reportedly confronted the thief, and

was punched in the face in the area of his eyes. The suspect fled the area and is now being sought by the police.

Sedalia man on east 12th reports a check was stolen and forged

At 3:13 Tuesday a victim in the 2000 block of east 12th told police officers a person known to him had stolen a check from his residence, and had

forged it the next day. The victim said he would assist in prosecution of the suspect.
