Sedalia man reportedly damages merchandise in a fit of rage Sunday

Just before 11pm Sunday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Breaktime at 318 West Broadway on a disturbance involving a customer. Upon arrival the complainant told the officers 21-year-old Willem D. Campbell damaged over $190 worth of merchandise in a fit of rage when the clerk couldn’t cash a check. Campbell had fled the area prior to the arrival of the officers, but was apprehended a short time later at 5th and Kentucky. At the time of the police report Campbell was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

Illinois woman arrested at Walmart for assault

At 12:30 Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at Walmart. Upon arrival a female victim told them 58-year-old Nancy A. Hanks of Sandoval, Illinois struck her in the face in the parking lot. Hanks was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Sedalia Police arrest a Sedalia woman on a Warsaw warrant Saturday

Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police arrested 47-year-old Anna Marie Kroenke of Sedalia on an active failure to appear warrant out of the City of Warsaw. Bond on the warrant was set at $100 cash only.

Sedalia man arrested during a disturbance investigation Saturday night

At  9:39 Saturday night Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance involving several subjects in the area of 6th and Montgomery. Upon arrival, none of the subjects involved wished to pursue charges. During the investigation one of the participants, identified as 21-year-old Joshua Reed Sockey of Sedalia, was found to have a failure to appear warrant on a traffic offence. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash only bond of $88.50.

Sedalia woman issued a summons for stealing at Walmart

Around 7:30 Saturday night Sedalia Police issued a Municipal Court Summons and court date to 21-year-old Heather A. Barnett of Sedalia for shoplifting at the Walmart Store.
