Overdose victim transported to Bothwell Hospital Saturday afternoon

According to a Sedalia Police report Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police Officers, the Sedalia Fire Department Rescue Unit, along with the Pettis County Ambulance District responded to the 1800 block of  South Barrett on a reported overdose victim. The police report states the victim was taken to the Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. There was no other information available on the incident.

Sedalia man arrested on multiple charges Saturday morning

Just after 2am Saturday morning Sedalia Police investigated a disturbance in the 2400 block of West Main. Upon arrival officers made contact with a suspect identified as Terry J. Meyer of Sedalia. Following an investigation Meyer was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of 2nd degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.

Traffic stop Saturday morning results in possession of marijuana charges for a passenger

Early Saturday morning Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 10th and Grand for a moving violation. As the officer approached the vehicle he reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana. The police report states a passenger 23-year-old Allyson Elizabeth Cooper of Sedalia was issued a summons and a court date for possession of marijuana.

30-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a failure to appear warrant Saturday

Around noon on Saturday Sedalia police stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of O’Reilly’s at 32nd and Limit. A check on the occupants revealed a passenger 30-year-old Christopher A. Vieth of Sedalia had a failure to appear warrant with a $150 cash only bond.

Valuable dog stolen from a man in the 1500 block of south Harrison

Just after 3pm Saturday afternoon a victim in the 1500 block of South Harrison reported his Pit Bulldog valued at approximately $1500 had been stolen from his back yard. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
