Sedalia man arrested on multiple charges Friday night

At 7:57 Friday night Sedalia Police observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at 16th and Grand. Following a traffic stop the driver 26-year-old Pedro Aquare-Yat of Sedalia, address unknown refused to obey the officers commands. The police report states, that after a brief struggle Pedro was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of resisting arrest, no operators license, and no proof of insurance.

50-year-old Sedalia man arrested Sunday night for domestic assault

Around 10:30 Sunday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Chestnut on a domestic assault complaint. According to the police report the female victim had injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle for treatment. The suspect identified as 50-year-old Mark Anthony Paxton of Sedalia was located and arrested. He was transported to the Pettis County jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of 2nd degree domestic assault.

Warrant check nets 42-year-old Sedalia man

Just before 2am Saturday morning Sedalia Police arrested 42-year-old Shannon George Wheatly of Sedalia on an active Pettis County Warrant for failure to appear. Bond on the warrant was set at $1500 cash.

Sedalia woman arrested on a Henry County Warrant

Around 7:24pm Friday night Sedalia Police responded to a non-injury accident at 15th and Osage. During an investigation  one of the drivers 40-year-old Bobby Jo Denny of Sedalia was found to have an active warrant out of  Henry County, and was also driving while revoked. She was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1000 cash only bond.

Warrant check results in arrest for a 31-year-old Sedalia man

At 12:37 Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 1600 block of East 4th.  The suspect, 31-year-old John Wayne Archambault of Sedalia was located and arrested. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $1500 bond on the failure to appear warrant.

Disturbance call results in arrest for open container violation

Just before 3am Sunday morning Sedalia police were investigating a disturbance in the area of Missouri and Wilkerson, when they located 22-year-old Andrew Lee Heather of Sedalia with an open container. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $13 bond for an open container violation.

32-year-old Sedalia woman arrested for stealing at Walmart

At 1:58 Friday afternoon Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Traci Renee Rabourn of Sedalia for shoplifting at the Walmart Store. She was transported to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

Saturday evening a female victim in the 600 East 5th reported a large china hutch, and a bed frame valued collectively at $600 were stolen from her home. There were no suspects at news time.
