Mothers Against Methamphetamine Provides Support in Pettis County [INTERVIEW]
Today I had the chance to speak over the phone with Claudia, the Executive Director of Mothers Against Methamphetamine. She had a lot to say about family and the community when it comes to this dangerous drug, and we talked about all the good this group can do in our area.
MAMA has bi-monthly meetings where they provide a big support group for family, friends, and anyone affected by the horrors of meth. They meet in Sedalia at the Broadway Baptist Church, 2119 East Broadway. They’ll meet at 6:30 p.m. every other Thursday until November. In the month of November and December, they’ll meet once.
For more information, call Claudia Kays, the Executive Director, at 660-202-9619 or email email@example.com.
So if you know someone who was a Meth addict, if you were a former Meth user, or you just need help to get through the experience, you’re not alone. Join the MAMA meetings, and you just might find a helping hand.
