Mother’s Day at Sedalia’s Daum Museum of Contemporary Art [Interview]
The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art in Sedalia will host a special free event for mothers this Sunday for Mother's Day.
The Daum Museum wants you to ‘Bring Mom to the Daum’ for a special Mother’s Day event from 1:p.m. – 3 p.m. Lots of activities are planned, according to Tom Piche, director and curator of the museum..The fun this Sunday will include card-making, museum tours by volunteer docents, raffles, refreshments, free spring flowers and art-making projects for the entire family.
In addition to all of the activities, there will be a children’s raffle for art supplies and Mom gets a flower as she exits the museum. Barney Knight will be doing ceramic throwing demonstrations on the wheel and live music will be performed by Danny Brymer on the guitar.
