Johnson County crash injures three Christmas Eve

At 4:40 Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident that occurred on Eastbound 50 Highway at Route “D” in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as a 2000 GMC driven by 17-year-old Chance Duffman of Knob Noster failed to yield to a 2012 Ford driven by 15-year-old Caleb Luallen of Lee’s Summitt, which caused the Luallen vehicle to strike the Duffman vehicle in the passenger side. Duffman, and a passenger in the Luallen vehicle, 47-year-old John Luallen suffered moderate injuries, while Caleb Luallen received minor injuries. All three victims were taken to Centerpoint Hospital by EMS.

Six Iowa residents injured in a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County Christmas Day

Around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a one-vehicle accident on County Road Southwest 101 just North of County Road Southwest 1250. The accident happened according to the report when the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet 35-year-old Darren Lingner of Perry Iowa lost control of his vehicle on the ice and ran off the roadway. The report states the vehicle overturned, and came to rest back on its tires. Lingner, his wife, and 4-minor children were all wearing seatbelts, and received only minor injuries in the crash. They were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

Teen and infant injured in a Saline County accident on Christmas

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report at 1:45 Christmas Day a 2004 Mitsubishi driven by 26-year-old Stacey Roberts of Bullhead City Arizona travelled off the roadway at 225th and Fern Avenue in Saline County, and into a ditch. Injured in the accident were 16-year-old Kendra Crutchfield of Mount Leonard Missouri, and an infant under the age of one, Zayden Inge of Marshall. Both victims were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.

19-year-old Corder man injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday night

The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident just before 10 Monday night that occurred at Railroad Street, and Elizabeth Street in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly happened as the driver of a 2000 Pontiac 19-year-old Christopher Skiles of Corder lost control of his vehicle on an ice covered roadway, travelled off the roadway, and struck a tree. Skiles suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Lafayette Regional Health Center by EMS for treatment.
