Sixth graders at Sacred Heart School celebrated See You at the Pole Day, a national movement focused on uniting students and communities to come together in prayer.

Students honored the occasion by praying the Our Father, reflecting on a Bible passage read by classmate, Brooklynn Greene, and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

"Faith and prayer play a huge part in what defines us as a Catholic school community, and sometimes we can take that for granted," explained Timara Kennon, SHS faculty member.

"There is power in prayer and we celebrate moments like See You at the Pole that champion prayer within ourselves, our communities and in our nation," she said.
