NEWTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey judge has pushed back the sentencing for a 51-year-old convicted kidnapper from Missouri because he's in a coma and on life support. The New Jersey Herald reports that the judge says Douglas Stangeland has been unconscious for almost a month since his transfer from jail to a hospital. He was convicted for the 2010 mistaken-identity kidnapping of a business owner. Sentencing will be August 12.
