Louise Bittiker, 86, of Sedalia, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.   Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery in DeWitt, Missouri, with Rev. Lanny Lybarger officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.  Memorials are suggested to the Welcome Club or the Salt & Light Sunday School Class of East Sedalia Baptist Church in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.  Born July 26, 1926 in Dawn, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Edna Kimber Summers.  On March 16, 1948 in Carrollton, she married Harold Gene Bittiker, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1995.  She is survived by three daughters, Lynda Eades and her husband Bill of Beckley, West Virginia, Michelle Thompson and her husband Dana of Columbia, Missouri, and Amy Fauss and her husband Adam of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; two brothers, John Summers of Bonner Springs, Kansas, and Willard Summers and his wife Mary Jane of Lenoir City, Tennessee; two sisters, Ruth Towner of Surprise, Arizona, and Wilberta Riemer and her husband Willard of Bonner Springs, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Irma Koch of Sedalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Summers and Everett Summers; and two sisters, Margaret Humble and Lucille Garber.  Mrs. Bittiker was a member of the East Sedalia Baptist Church, and it’s Salt & Light Sunday School Class.  She was also a member of the Welcome Club of Sedalia, Chapter BB of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Bothwell Hospital Auxiliary.  She had moved to Sedalia from Salisbury, Missouri in 1982.
