Roger Samuel Kropf, beloved husband of Mary Beth (Hostetler) Kropf, was born Feb. 5, 1966, to Eugene and Luella Kropf at Springfield, MO.
God called Roger home on May 9, 2014, at the age of 48 years, 3 months, and 4 days, following a farm accident.

He accepted Christ in his youth and was a faithful member of the Olive Hill Amish Mennonite Church.

On April 2, 1985, he was united in marriage to Mary Hostetler, at Mena, AR, sharing the joys and sorrows of married life for over 29 years.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife Mary, 7 children, Morris and wife Lynette, Sedalia, MO, Marty and wife April, Sedalia, MO, Kent and wife Kaitlyn, Sedalia, MO, Kayla and husband Alex Kempf, Hughesville, MO, Kody, Kelli, and Kendra of the home. He was looking forward to being a grandpa soon.

He also leaves his parents, Eugene and Luella Kropf, 6 brothers and 5 sisters, Roy and wife Julie, Sedalia, MO, Robert and wife Colleen, Sedalia, MO, Ellen and husband Jeff Eigsti, Muscoda, WI, Elsie and husband Dale Shrock, Sedalia, MO, Andy and wife Susanne, Creston, IA, Anna and husband Roland Hostetler, Hotchkiss, CO, Alice and husband Marion Hostetler, Otterville, MO, Arlene and husband Arlyn Swartzentruber, Sedalia, MO, Joel and wife Teresa, Creston, IA, Gene and wife Karla, Sedalia, MO, Jim and wife Josi, Sedalia, MO.

He was preceded in death by a stillborn son, daughter-in-law, Ella Mae, wife of Morris, his parents-in-law, Paul and Orpha Hostetler, his grandparents, Joe and Alice Kropf, Harold and Florence Knox, 4 uncles and 4 aunts.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Olive Hill Amish Mennonite Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Olive Hill Amish Mennonite School. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
