Officers Arrest Sedalia Man on Drug Charges

A traffic stop in the area of East Walnut Street and North Emmet Avenue led to the arrest of a 48-year-old Sedalia man for Possession of Synthetic Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to a Sedalia Police Report, Timothy Paul Potter was stopped just before 7 p.m. on November 15 for a traffic violation. An officer reported seeing Potter take an item out of his pocket and attempt to hide it. Potter was asked to step out of the car, and a search of the vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Potter was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
