One Injured in Pettis County Collision

A 65-year old woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle Pettis County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck just before 5:00, on Highway 65 at Hwy J.

According to the online crash report, a 2011 Mercury Mariner pulled into the path of a 2000 Honda Civic, causing the vehicles to collide and slide off the road.

The driver of the Mercury, Julia M. Castiglia, of Nelson, MO, suffered serious injuries. Castiglia was taken to University Hospital, by PCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the Honda, 43-year old Hugo A. Molina, of Marshall, was reportedly uninjured.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
